Thinking about it...
I recently moved to Birmingham and fell in love with the canals. When I was next in a bookshop I bought a copy of a map showing all the waterways of GB. The Grand Union Canal runs from Birmingham into Central London. Geo Projects produce more detailed canal maps and, maps 1 and 3 cover the Grand Union Canal. The plan is to have a go at cycling the canal with perhaps a stop over half way.

Two years on and are you still interested? I would be prepared to join you as part of my attempt to cover much of the National cycle network.
